For Vonetta Dumas, it was an early influence to beauty watching: Diana Ross as Tracy becoming the most in-demand fashion designer in the film Mahogany; the fashionable Erica Kane a fictional character from the American ABC Daytime soap opera, All My Children; and Regina “Régine” Hunter, an image-conscious, boutique buyer from the American television sitcom, Living Single. They gave her inspiration and helped shape her interest in beauty. These women brought beauty and fashion together: expressing a strong image. Vonetta realized that having a Signature Image not only adds to your confidence but leaves those you encounter with a stand-out impression.
